Into The Unwritten
Purpose of This Collection
This body of work explores the symbolic terrain that exists before conscious thought, where familiar cultural archetypes dissolve into dream landscapes and become gateways toward new worlds.
Rather than illustrating literary narratives, these works transform them into psychological landscapes suspended between memory, imagination, and awakening. Stories once learned in childhood are stripped of their linear plots and reconstructed as inner geographies, where doors, mirrors, clouds, animals, architecture, flowers, and forgotten objects no longer serve a narrative—they become symbols of emotional and spiritual passage.
Each composition inhabits the fragile space between what is known and what still waits to be discovered. Open doors reveal landscapes that may exist not only within the imagination, but somewhere just beyond certainty. Mirrors suspend reflections instead of returning them. Clouds assume impossible forms, while tranquil skies invite the mind to wander beyond certainty. Gravity itself becomes negotiable, suggesting that every invisible weight can eventually be overcome.
These images emerge from the desire for another horizon—not an escape from reality, but a deeper engagement with possibility. They are born from the exhaustion of inhabiting a world increasingly marked by indifference, conflict, isolation, and emotional distance. Against that landscape, they search for gentleness, wonder, knowledge, communication, and inner renewal.
The recurring symbols speak of opposing forces: what anchors us and what calls us forward; what protects us and what confines us; what we inherit and what we choose to become. Curiosity becomes an act of courage, inviting us to step beyond the boundaries of certainty and into spaces where transformation begins.
Borrowing fragments from the collective imagination while moving beyond their original stories, the series investigates the unconscious through visual metaphors of longing, vulnerability, resilience, protection, and becoming. Positioned between dream and memory, between endings and beginnings, these works resist fixed interpretation. Instead, they invite each viewer to complete the journey through their own experiences.
Ultimately, the series proposes that the stories we inherit never truly leave us. They continue to live beneath language and beyond words—not simply as tales we remember, but as inner worlds that can be questioned, transformed, and rewritten. What we inherit may shape us, but it does not have to determine what comes next.

Σκοπός της Συλλογής
Η σειρά αυτή εξερευνά το συμβολικό έδαφος που προηγείται της συνειδητής σκέψης, εκεί όπου τα γνώριμα παραμύθια διαλύονται σε αρχέτυπα όνειρα και μετατρέπονται σε περάσματα προς κόσμους που δεν έχουν ακόμη γραφτεί.
Αντί να εικονογραφούν λογοτεχνικές αφηγήσεις, τα έργα μετασχηματίζουν τις ιστορίες σε ψυχολογικά τοπία που αιωρούνται ανάμεσα στη μνήμη, τη φαντασία και την αφύπνιση. Οι αφηγήσεις της παιδικής ηλικίας απογυμνώνονται από τη γραμμική τους πλοκή και ανασυντίθενται ως εσωτερικές γεωγραφίες, όπου πόρτες, καθρέφτες, σύννεφα, ζώα, αρχιτεκτονικά στοιχεία, άνθη και λησμονημένα αντικείμενα παύουν να υπηρετούν μια ιστορία και μεταμορφώνονται σε σύμβολα συναισθηματικής και πνευματικής μετάβασης.
Κάθε σύνθεση κατοικεί το εύθραυστο όριο ανάμεσα σε ό,τι γνωρίζουμε και σε ό,τι εξακολουθεί να περιμένει να ανακαλυφθεί. Ανοιχτές πόρτες αποκαλύπτουν τοπία που μπορεί να υπάρχουν όχι μόνο μέσα στη φαντασία, αλλά και κάπου ακριβώς πέρα από τη βεβαιότητα. Οι καθρέφτες δεν επιστρέφουν τις αντανακλάσεις· τις αναστέλλουν. Τα σύννεφα αποκτούν απρόσμενες μορφές, ενώ οι γαλήνιοι ουρανοί προσκαλούν τον νου να περιπλανηθεί πέρα από τα όρια του οικείου. Ακόμη και η βαρύτητα μοιάζει να αναστέλλεται, υπαινισσόμενη πως κάθε αόρατο βάρος μπορεί, τελικά, να ξεπεραστεί.
Οι εικόνες αυτές γεννιούνται από την επιθυμία για έναν διαφορετικό ορίζοντα· όχι ως απόδραση από την πραγματικότητα, αλλά ως βαθύτερη συνάντηση με το ενδεχόμενο. Αναδύονται μέσα από την κόπωση ενός κόσμου που χαρακτηρίζεται ολοένα περισσότερο από αδιαφορία, σύγκρουση, απομόνωση και συναισθηματική αποξένωση. Απέναντι σε αυτή την πραγματικότητα, αναζητούν την τρυφερότητα, το θαύμα, τη γνώση, την επικοινωνία και την εσωτερική αναγέννηση.
Τα επαναλαμβανόμενα σύμβολα μιλούν για αντίρροπες δυνάμεις: για ό,τι μας κρατά σταθερούς και για ό,τι μας καλεί να προχωρήσουμε· για ό,τι μας προστατεύει και για ό,τι μας περιορίζει· για όσα κληρονομούμε και για εκείνα που επιλέγουμε να γίνουμε. Η περιέργεια μετατρέπεται σε πράξη θάρρους, προσκαλώντας μας να υπερβούμε τα όρια της βεβαιότητας και να διαβούμε τους χώρους όπου αρχίζει η μεταμόρφωση.
Δανειζόμενη θραύσματα από τη συλλογική φαντασία, αλλά απομακρυνόμενη από τις αρχικές τους αφηγήσεις, η σειρά προσεγγίζει το ασυνείδητο μέσα από οπτικές μεταφορές της λαχτάρας, της ευαλωτότητας, της ανθεκτικότητας, της προστασίας και της διαρκούς εξέλιξης. Τοποθετημένα ανάμεσα στο όνειρο και τη μνήμη, ανάμεσα στο τέλος και την αρχή, τα έργα αντιστέκονται σε μία και μοναδική ερμηνεία. Αντίθετα, προσκαλούν κάθε θεατή να ολοκληρώσει τη διαδρομή μέσα από τη δική του εμπειρία.
Τελικά, η σειρά προτείνει πως οι ιστορίες που κληρονομούμε δεν μας εγκαταλείπουν ποτέ πραγματικά. Συνεχίζουν να υπάρχουν κάτω από τη γλώσσα και πέρα από τις λέξεις· όχι απλώς ως αφηγήσεις που θυμόμαστε, αλλά ως εσωτερικοί κόσμοι που μπορούν να αμφισβητηθούν, να μεταμορφωθούν και να ξαναγραφτούν. Όσα κληρονομούμε μπορεί να μας διαμορφώνουν, αλλά δεν χρειάζεται να καθορίζουν όσα ακολουθούν.

Description:
My work explores the symbolic relationship between color, memory, and transformation. I create visual narratives where reality and imagination merge, allowing familiar objects, natural elements, and human presence to become metaphors for inner experience.
Rather than illustrating a story, I seek to create spaces that invite contemplation and personal interpretation. In The Sleeping Orchard, the quiet dialogue between water, fruit, and the resting figure reflects my fascination with dreams as places of renewal, where emotion and memory unfold beyond the limits of conscious thought. Through layered symbolism and chromatic harmony, I invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own meanings within the stillness of the image.
Borrowing from the archetypal image of the sleeping princess, the work moves beyond the familiar fairy tale to explore the psychological landscape that exists before awakening. Sleep becomes neither enchantment nor passivity, but a profound state of inner renewal in which memory, emotion, and imagination quietly prepare the conditions for transformation.
The drifting boat suggests that the human psyche is never truly still. Even in moments of apparent rest, the inner self continues its invisible journey, gathering fragments of experience and allowing them to mature beneath the surface of consciousness. Water becomes the fluid landscape of emotion, while the orchard represents the inner garden where memories, desires, fears, and hopes continue to grow beyond the reach of conscious awareness. The lemons, traditionally associated with purification, resilience, and renewal, symbolize the bittersweet experiences through which emotional growth gradually unfolds. Delicate porcelain, flowers, and flowing fabrics evoke the fragility of this dreamlike world, where beauty emerges not despite vulnerability, but because of it.
Within the symbolic language of dreams, sleep is not an escape from reality but a profound process of psychological restoration. It is here that memory, emotion, and imagination begin to weave together the foundations of a new consciousness.
Ultimately, The Sleeping Orchard proposes that every transformation begins long before conscious choice. Before we open the first symbolic door, question inherited beliefs, embrace vulnerability, or imagine a different future, we must first enter the silent orchard of the unconscious, where the earliest seeds of renewal patiently await their awakening.

Το έργο μου διερευνά τη συμβολική σχέση ανάμεσα στο χρώμα, τη μνήμη και τη μεταμόρφωση. Δημιουργώ οπτικές αφηγήσεις όπου η πραγματικότητα και η φαντασία συγχωνεύονται, επιτρέποντας σε οικεία αντικείμενα, φυσικά στοιχεία και την ανθρώπινη παρουσία να μετατρέπονται σε μεταφορές της εσωτερικής εμπειρίας.
Αντί να εικονογραφώ μια ιστορία, επιδιώκω να δημιουργώ χώρους που προσκαλούν τον θεατή σε στοχασμό και προσωπική ερμηνεία. Στον Κοιμισμένο Οπωρώνα, ο ήρεμος διάλογος ανάμεσα στο νερό, τους καρπούς και την κοιμισμένη μορφή εκφράζει τη βαθιά μου γοητεία για τα όνειρα ως τόπους αναγέννησης, όπου το συναίσθημα και η μνήμη ξεδιπλώνονται πέρα από τα όρια της συνειδητής σκέψης. Μέσα από πολυεπίπεδους συμβολισμούς και χρωματικές αρμονίες, προσκαλώ τον θεατή να σταθεί, να στοχαστεί και να ανακαλύψει τις δικές του ερμηνείες μέσα στη σιωπή της εικόνας.
Αντλώντας έμπνευση από το αρχετυπικό σύμβολο της κοιμισμένης πριγκίπισσας, το έργο απομακρύνεται από το γνώριμο παραμύθι και διερευνά το ψυχολογικό τοπίο που προηγείται της αφύπνισης. Ο ύπνος δεν παρουσιάζεται ούτε ως μαγεία ούτε ως παθητική αναμονή, αλλά ως μια βαθιά κατάσταση εσωτερικής αναγέννησης, όπου η μνήμη, το συναίσθημα και η φαντασία προετοιμάζουν αθόρυβα τις προϋποθέσεις της μεταμόρφωσης.
Η βάρκα υποδηλώνει ότι η ανθρώπινη ψυχή δεν παραμένει ποτέ πραγματικά ακίνητη. Ακόμη και μέσα στη φαινομενική ακινησία, ο εσωτερικός κόσμος συνεχίζει το αόρατο ταξίδι του, συγκεντρώνοντας εμπειρίες και επιτρέποντάς τους να ωριμάσουν κάτω από την επιφάνεια της συνείδησης. Το νερό γίνεται το ρευστό τοπίο των συναισθημάτων, ενώ ο οπωρώνας λειτουργεί ως ένας εσωτερικός κήπος όπου οι αναμνήσεις, οι επιθυμίες, οι φόβοι και οι ελπίδες συνεχίζουν να αναπτύσσονται πέρα από τα όρια της συνειδητής σκέψης. Τα λεμόνια, διαχρονικά σύμβολα κάθαρσης, ανθεκτικότητας και αναγέννησης, εκφράζουν τις γλυκόπικρες εμπειρίες μέσα από τις οποίες γεννιέται η προσωπική εξέλιξη. Η πορσελάνη, τα άνθη και τα ανάλαφρα υφάσματα υπογραμμίζουν την εύθραυστη ομορφιά αυτού του ονειρικού κόσμου, όπου η ομορφιά δεν υπάρχει παρά την ευαλωτότητα, αλλά ακριβώς εξαιτίας της.
Στη συμβολική γλώσσα των ονείρων, ο ύπνος δεν αποτελεί φυγή από την πραγματικότητα, αλλά μια βαθιά διαδικασία ψυχικής ανασύνθεσης. Είναι ο χώρος όπου η μνήμη, το συναίσθημα και η φαντασία αρχίζουν να υφαίνουν τα θεμέλια μιας νέας συνείδησης.
Τελικά, Ο Κοιμισμένος Οπωρώνας προτείνει ότι κάθε ουσιαστική μεταμόρφωση αρχίζει πολύ πριν από τη συνειδητή επιλογή. Πριν ανοίξουμε την πρώτη συμβολική πύλη, πριν αμφισβητήσουμε όσα κληρονομήσαμε, πριν αποδεχθούμε την ευαλωτότητά μας ή οραματιστούμε έναν διαφορετικό κόσμο, χρειάζεται πρώτα να εισέλθουμε στον σιωπηλό οπωρώνα του ασυνειδήτου, εκεί όπου οι πρώτοι σπόροι της αναγέννησης περιμένουν υπομονετικά να αφυπνιστούν.

I awaken
Description:
A solitary figure stands before an ornate doorway suspended between cloud and earth. The open threshold reveals a distant path, while the mirrors surrounding it refuse to return a single, stable reflection. Above, a lion formed from cloud watches silently, embodying courage, inner guardianship, and the deeper self that often remains hidden beneath conscious awareness.
Rather than portraying an escape into fantasy, Awakening reflects the universal longing to cross beyond the emotional landscape of our own time. It emerges from a world increasingly marked by uncertainty, violence, conflict, emotional detachment, and the growing fragility of our relationship with nature. The open door becomes neither a promise nor an illusion, but a psychological threshold—a symbolic invitation to imagine another way of being.
The suspended crowns, shifting reflections, and impossible architecture suggest that transformation begins long before we physically move; it begins the moment we allow ourselves to envision a different reality. Within the logic of dreams, the wardrobe becomes less a passage into another place than a passage toward another state of consciousness, where hope, curiosity, and compassion regain their forgotten weight.
Ultimately, Awakening proposes that every new world first exists within the imagination. Before societies change, before landscapes recover, before fear gives way to understanding, there is always a single moment of quiet courage: the willingness to step through an unseen door.

Το ανοιχτό πέρασμα αποκαλύπτει ένα μονοπάτι, όμως ο προορισμός του παραμένει άγνωστος, ενώ οι καθρέφτες που το περιβάλλουν αρνούνται να επιστρέψουν μία σταθερή αντανάκλαση. Πάνω από τη σκηνή, ένα λιοντάρι σχηματισμένο από σύννεφα λειτουργεί ως σύμβολο εσωτερικής δύναμης, προστασίας και εκείνου του βαθύτερου εαυτού που παραμένει αθέατος όσο κυριαρχεί η συνείδηση.
Το έργο δεν προτείνει μια απόδραση από την πραγματικότητα, αλλά εκφράζει την ανθρώπινη ανάγκη να υπερβούμε το ψυχικό τοπίο της εποχής μας. Γεννήθηκε από την κόπωση που προκαλεί ένας κόσμος ολοένα πιο βίαιος, αβέβαιος και συναισθηματικά αποξενωμένος· ένας κόσμος όπου οι πόλεμοι, η αδιαφορία, η ψυχρότητα των ανθρώπινων σχέσεων και η περιβαλλοντική κρίση δοκιμάζουν καθημερινά την πίστη μας στην ελπίδα.

Τελικά, η Αφύπνιση προτείνει ότι κάθε νέος κόσμος αρχίζει ως μια εσωτερική απόφαση. Πριν αλλάξει η κοινωνία, πριν επουλωθεί η φύση, πριν η ελπίδα υπερισχύσει του φόβου, υπάρχει πάντοτε μια στιγμή σιωπηλού θάρρους: η απόφαση να διαβούμε την πύλη προς μια νέα συνείδηση.

I imagine and understand
Description:
Books drift through an endless blue expanse while a white rabbit, a pocket watch, and flowers unfolding into human faces gather around a solitary figure. Here, knowledge is neither arranged on shelves nor governed by chronology; it emerges as symbols, memories, intuitions, and fragments that continually reshape one another within the unconscious.
The porcelain teacup balanced above the figure’s head functions simultaneously as a crown and a vessel of thought. It suggests a mind carrying inherited stories while remaining capable of transforming them into new ways of seeing. The floating books refuse the weight of gravity, proposing that imagination and knowledge are not confined by the physical world but belong to a freer realm of consciousness.
The work was born from a reflection on an age overwhelmed by information yet increasingly deprived of wisdom; a world marked by violence, polarization, emotional detachment, and the gradual erosion of curiosity. Against this landscape, reading, imagination, and intellectual openness become acts of quiet resistance. They remind us that genuine transformation begins not through certainty, but through the willingness to question, to wonder, and to learn.
The Library of the Unconscious Mind imagines the subconscious as a living archive where memory, time, and imagination continuously rewrite one another. Within this dreamlike space, gravity loses its authority, ideas move freely, and the human spirit discovers its greatest strength: the ability to transcend inherited limitations, envision new possibilities, and continually recreate itself.

Βιβλία αιωρούνται σε έναν απέραντο γαλάζιο χώρο, ενώ ένας λευκός λαγός, ένα ρολόι τσέπης και άνθη που μεταμορφώνονται σε ανθρώπινα πρόσωπα συγκλίνουν γύρω από μια γυναικεία μορφή. Εδώ η γνώση δεν ταξινομείται σε ράφια ούτε υπακούει στη γραμμική έννοια του χρόνου· εμφανίζεται ως σύμβολα, αναμνήσεις, διαισθήσεις και ασύνδετα θραύσματα που αποκτούν νέο νόημα κάθε φορά που επιστρέφουν στη συνείδηση.
Το φλιτζάνι που ισορροπεί πάνω στο κεφάλι λειτουργεί ταυτόχρονα ως στέμμα και ως δοχείο του νου. Υποδηλώνει ότι κάθε άνθρωπος κουβαλά ιστορίες που κληρονόμησε, αλλά διαθέτει και την ελευθερία να τις μετασχηματίσει, να τις επανερμηνεύσει και να δημιουργήσει νέες πραγματικότητες.
Το έργο γεννήθηκε από την ανάγκη να αντιπαρατεθεί σε έναν κόσμο που ολοένα κατακλύζεται από πληροφορία, αλλά στερείται ουσιαστικής γνώσης· έναν κόσμο όπου η βία, η πόλωση, η αδιαφορία και η πνευματική απομόνωση περιορίζουν την ανθρώπινη σκέψη. Απέναντι σε αυτή την πραγματικότητα, η ανάγνωση, η φαντασία και η καλλιέργεια του νου δεν αποτελούν πολυτέλεια, αλλά πράξεις εσωτερικής ελευθερίας και αντίστασης.

Borrowing from the memory of a familiar tale, the work shifts its focus away from royal identity toward invisible sensitivity—the quiet discomfort that becomes unbearable precisely because it remains unseen and unacknowledged. The suspended bed, floating mirrors, delicate fabrics, and confection-like cushions construct a dreamscape where comfort and burden become indistinguishable.
Rather than questioning physical fragility, the work reflects on the emotional weight carried beneath appearances. It speaks of the countless anxieties, losses, and silent wounds that seem insignificant to the outside world yet profoundly shape our inner lives. In an age increasingly defined by emotional detachment, relentless expectations, conflict, and the normalization of indifference, sensitivity is too often mistaken for weakness instead of being recognized as one of our deepest human capacities.
Within the symbolic language of dreams, the tiny pea becomes more than an object; it represents every unnoticed burden that quietly accumulates beneath the surface of consciousness. The impossible balance of pillows suggests our endless attempts to soften reality while continuing to carry what has never truly been released.

Around them, stars, small planets, and fragments of imagined landscapes drift through an endless night sky where gravity quietly dissolves and dreams become a new reality.
Borrowing from the symbolic language of a familiar literary archetype, the work is not about searching for a better world, but about the moment when that world has already come into being. The small planet is not a place of escape; it represents a new inner territory, a world created after the threshold of personal transformation has already been crossed. Here, the question is no longer where we are going, but which values we choose to carry into the future.
The rose symbolizes love, beauty, and the fragile aspects of humanity that deserve protection. The fox embodies trust, meaningful connection, and the responsibility born through genuine relationships. Sleep is not presented as an escape from reality, but as a state of inner renewal in which the soul prepares itself to inhabit a new world without abandoning its deepest essence.
The work was conceived as a reflection on an age marked by conflict, uncertainty, emotional detachment, environmental fragility, and the gradual erosion of empathy. Against this landscape, Restarting suggests that transformation is not completed when we step beyond the familiar. It is completed when we consciously decide how the new world before us will be shaped.
Ultimately, Restarting proposes that every new beginning carries a profound responsibility: to create a reality where love, trust, compassion, and humanity are no longer fragile ideals, but the foundations upon which the future is built.

Το έργο γεννήθηκε ως στοχασμός πάνω σε μια εποχή που σημαδεύεται από πολέμους, αβεβαιότητα, αποξένωση, περιβαλλοντική κρίση και τη σταδιακή φθορά της ανθρώπινης ενσυναίσθησης. A solitary woman sits suspended between earth and sky, crowned not by royalty but by the quiet presence of a crane. Around her, woven spheres of thread drift like symbolic planets still in the process of becoming. A moonlit mirror, a delicate fan, and an antique sewing machine complete this dreamlike landscape, where memory, creation, and imagination merge into a single reality.
Inspired by the Japanese folktale The Crane Wife (Tsuru no Ongaeshi), the work moves beyond its narrative origins to explore the psychological terrain of identity, reciprocity, and inner transformation. The crane no longer appears as a mythical creature but as an extension of the self—a symbol of patience, resilience, intuition, and the quiet wisdom that emerges when kindness is offered without expectation of reward.
The suspended sewing machine and the thread-like planets function as a unified symbol of creation. Here, threads weave more than fabric; they weave memories, relationships, choices, and future realities. Each sphere suggests a world that has not yet been completed, reminding us that human beings actively participate in shaping both their inner universe and the collective world they inhabit.
The sewing machine also reminds us that identity is never fixed. It is continually stitched, unstitched, and rewoven through loss, forgiveness, love, and self-discovery. The feathered garment dissolves the boundary between woman and bird, suggesting that true transformation does not require becoming someone else, but recognizing the self that has always existed beneath the surface.
Within the symbolic language of dreams, the crane represents the ability to transcend fear without abandoning sensitivity. Its grace, fidelity, and freedom become metaphors for emotional maturity: the capacity to love without possessing, to protect without imprisoning, and to understand that no meaningful relationship can exist without freedom.
In the dream world, the planet is not merely a place we inhabit—it is something we continuously create. Every thought, every act of kindness, and every conscious choice becomes another thread in the slow weaving of the world yet to come.
Ultimately, The Wisdom of the Crane proposes that the deepest transformations are achieved not through force or domination, but through quiet perseverance, humility, and profound self-knowledge. Just as the crane crosses the sky in silent grace, the human spirit discovers its greatest strength when it lives in harmony with its true nature.

Εμπνευσμένο από το ιαπωνικό παραμύθι Η Συζυγος του Γερανού (Tsuru no Ongaeshi), το έργο απομακρύνεται από την κυριολεκτική αφήγηση και διερευνά το ψυχολογικό πεδίο της ταυτότητας, της αμοιβαιότητας και της εσωτερικής μεταμόρφωσης. Τα νήματα δεν υφαίνουν μόνο υφάσματα· υφαίνουν εμπειρίες, σχέσεις και μελλοντικές πραγματικότητες. Κάθε κουβάρι υπαινίσσεται έναν κόσμο που δεν έχει ακόμη ολοκληρωθεί, υπενθυμίζοντας ότι ο άνθρωπος συμμετέχει ενεργά στη διαμόρφωση του εσωτερικού αλλά και του συλλογικού του σύμπαντος.
Υπενθυμίζει ότι η προσωπικότητα δεν είναι ποτέ στατική· ράβεται, ξηλώνεται και ξαναδημιουργείται διαρκώς μέσα από την απώλεια, τη συγχώρεση, την αγάπη και την αυτογνωσία. Το ένδυμα από φτερά καταργεί τα όρια ανάμεσα στον άνθρωπο και το πουλί, υποδηλώνοντας ότι η αληθινή μεταμόρφωση δεν σημαίνει να γίνουμε κάποιος άλλος, αλλά να αναγνωρίσουμε εκείνον που υπήρχε πάντοτε μέσα μας.
Στη συμβολική γλώσσα των ονείρων, ο γερανός αντιπροσωπεύει την ικανότητα να υπερβαίνουμε τον φόβο χωρίς να χάνουμε την ευαισθησία μας. Τελικά, Η Σοφία του Γερανού προτείνει ότι οι σημαντικότερες μεταμορφώσεις δεν πραγματοποιούνται μέσα από τη δύναμη ή την επιβολή, αλλά μέσα από τη σιωπηλή επιμονή, την ταπεινότητα και τη βαθιά γνώση του εαυτού. Before the Story Chooses Its Ending unfolds as a surreal psychological landscape where fragments of familiar stories drift beyond their original narratives and gather within a single imagined world.
A woman rests at the threshold between stillness and departure. Around her, books, a sleeping fox, a suspended clock, an impossible mirror, celestial bodies, floating architecture, and a lion emerging from clouds inhabit a space where ordinary laws have quietly dissolved. An open door reveals another landscape, yet whether it represents escape, memory, awakening, or an undiscovered part of the self remains deliberately unresolved.
The work draws inspiration from the symbolic language of fairy tales and literary worlds encountered in childhood—their animals, enchanted passages, impossible places, transformations, and journeys into the unknown. Rather than illustrating any single story, these references are dismantled and reassembled as fragments of collective memory.
Psychologically, the composition explores the moment before transformation: the interval in which the familiar still offers comfort, while something unknown begins to call us forward. The sleeping fox suggests an instinctive knowledge already carried within; the books preserve inherited experience; the mirror opens onto another perception of reality; and the doorway becomes both invitation and choice.
Here, the surreal is not an escape from reality but a way of entering more deeply into the unconscious. Different stories appear to converge because memory itself does not preserve experience in orderly narratives—it combines images, emotions, fears, desires, and symbols into new internal worlds.
The ending therefore remains absent. The woman has not yet crossed the threshold.
The story is still unwritten.

Μια γυναίκα βρίσκεται στο κατώφλι ανάμεσα στην ακινησία και την αναχώρηση. Γύρω της, βιβλία, μια αλεπού που κοιμάται, ένα αιωρούμενο ρολόι, ένας παράδοξος καθρέφτης, ουράνια σώματα, αιωρούμενη αρχιτεκτονική και ένα λιοντάρι που αναδύεται μέσα από τα σύννεφα συνυπάρχουν σε έναν χώρο όπου οι νόμοι της πραγματικότητας έχουν σιωπηλά ανατραπεί. Μια ανοιχτή πόρτα αποκαλύπτει ένα άλλο τοπίο, χωρίς όμως να γίνεται σαφές αν οδηγεί στη φυγή, στη μνήμη, στην αφύπνιση ή σε μια ανεξερεύνητη περιοχή του ίδιου του εαυτού.
Το έργο αντλεί έμπνευση από τη συμβολική γλώσσα των παραμυθιών και των λογοτεχνικών κόσμων της παιδικής ηλικίας—από τα ζώα, τα μαγικά περάσματα, τους αδύνατους τόπους, τις μεταμορφώσεις και τα ταξίδια προς το άγνωστο. Αντί όμως να εικονογραφεί μία συγκεκριμένη ιστορία, αποσυνθέτει αυτές τις αναφορές και τις επανασυνθέτει ως θραύσματα συλλογικής μνήμης.
Σε ψυχολογικό επίπεδο, η σύνθεση διερευνά τη στιγμή που προηγείται της μεταμόρφωσης: εκείνο το εύθραυστο διάστημα κατά το οποίο το οικείο εξακολουθεί να προσφέρει ασφάλεια, ενώ κάτι άγνωστο αρχίζει να μας καλεί προς τα εμπρός. Η αλεπού που κοιμάται υποδηλώνει μια ενστικτώδη γνώση που ήδη φέρουμε μέσα μας· τα βιβλία διαφυλάσσουν την κληρονομημένη εμπειρία· ο καθρέφτης ανοίγει μια διαφορετική αντίληψη της πραγματικότητας· και η πόρτα μετατρέπεται ταυτόχρονα σε πρόσκληση και επιλογή.

Description:
A solitary figure sits surrounded by open books, suspended objects, and fragments of an impossible world. Above her, an owl arrives carrying a sealed letter, while a key hangs beneath it as though waiting for the moment it will be claimed. Beyond the arched opening, a distant castle rises among clouds and celestial forms, while a staircase ascends toward a destination that remains unseen. Apples, birds, porcelain, flowers, and books inhabit the same suspended reality, where knowledge, memory, and imagination seem to exist beyond ordinary boundaries.
Rather than illustrating a familiar story, The Library Beyond the Door explores the moment when the unknown first presents itself as possibility. The unopened letter becomes an invitation; the key suggests access to something not yet understood; the books embody knowledge, inherited stories, and the worlds that imagination makes possible. The door is already open, yet what lies beyond it can only be discovered by those willing to cross the threshold.
The work reflects the central idea of Into the Unwritten: that imagination is not simply a refuge from reality, but a way of questioning its limits. In a world where uncertainty can so easily become fear, curiosity offers another response—the willingness to seek, to learn, and to imagine what might exist beyond what we already know. The distant architecture and ascending staircase therefore represent less a destination than a continuing possibility: the awareness that another path may always exist beyond the visible one.
As the final work in the series, The Library Beyond the Door does not close the journey. Instead, it opens it once more. The letter remains sealed. The key has not yet turned. The books contain worlds still waiting to be entered, and the staircase continues beyond sight.
Ultimately, the work proposes that knowledge and imagination do not provide us with a final answer.
They give us something more important: the courage to keep opening doors.

Μήλα, πουλιά, πορσελάνες, άνθη και βιβλία συνυπάρχουν στην ίδια μετέωρη πραγματικότητα, όπου η γνώση, η μνήμη και η φαντασία μοιάζουν να υπάρχουν πέρα από τα όρια του συνηθισμένου.
Αντί να εικονογραφεί μια γνώριμη ιστορία, η Βιβλιοθήκη Πέρα από την Πόρτα εξερευνά τη στιγμή κατά την οποία το άγνωστο εμφανίζεται για πρώτη φορά ως δυνατότητα. Το σφραγισμένο γράμμα μετατρέπεται σε πρόσκληση· το κλειδί υποδηλώνει την πρόσβαση σε κάτι που δεν έχει ακόμη γίνει κατανοητό· τα βιβλία ενσαρκώνουν τη γνώση, τις ιστορίες που κληρονομούμε και τους κόσμους που μπορεί να δημιουργήσει η φαντασία. Η πόρτα είναι ήδη ανοιχτή, όμως ό,τι βρίσκεται πέρα από αυτήν μπορεί να αποκαλυφθεί μόνο σε εκείνους που είναι πρόθυμοι να διαβούν το κατώφλι.
Το έργο αντανακλά την κεντρική ιδέα του Into the Unwritten: ότι η φαντασία δεν αποτελεί απλώς καταφύγιο από την πραγματικότητα, αλλά έναν τρόπο να αμφισβητήσουμε τα όριά της. Σε έναν κόσμο όπου η αβεβαιότητα μπορεί εύκολα να μετατραπεί σε φόβο, η περιέργεια προτείνει μια διαφορετική στάση—την προθυμία να αναζητήσουμε, να μάθουμε και να φανταστούμε τι μπορεί να υπάρχει πέρα από όσα ήδη γνωρίζουμε. Η μακρινή αρχιτεκτονική και η σκάλα που ανηφορίζει δεν αντιπροσωπεύουν τόσο έναν προορισμό όσο μια διαρκή δυνατότητα: τη συνειδητοποίηση ότι ένα ακόμη μονοπάτι μπορεί πάντοτε να υπάρχει πέρα από εκείνο που βλέπουμε.
Ως το τελευταίο έργο της σειράς, η Βιβλιοθήκη Πέρα από την Πόρτα δεν ολοκληρώνει το ταξίδι. Αντίθετα, το ανοίγει ξανά. Το γράμμα παραμένει σφραγισμένο. Το κλειδί δεν έχει ακόμη γυρίσει. Τα βιβλία περιέχουν κόσμους που περιμένουν ακόμη να τους ανακαλύψουμε και η σκάλα συνεχίζεται πέρα από το ορατό.
Τελικά, το έργο προτείνει ότι η γνώση και η φαντασία δεν μας προσφέρουν μια οριστική απάντηση.
Μας προσφέρουν κάτι σημαντικότερο: το θάρρος να συνεχίζουμε να ανοίγουμε πόρτες.
