In this new series, “The Luminous Abyss,” I explore the emotional tension between light and darkness—between what we reveal and what we conceal. Inspired by the poetic and symbolic power of lighting forms—chandeliers, lampshades, glowing bulbs, candlelight—each artwork becomes a portal into the soul’s hidden architecture.
From retro opulence to futuristic minimalism, the series spans aesthetic timeframes like emotional ones. It’s a passage through visual eras, echoing our internal voyage: secret fears, unspoken desires, forgotten dreams, and luminous truths—all suspended like delicate light fixtures within the mind.
Each composition begins as a hand-drawn concept—sketched with intention and emotion—then brought to life digitally through intricate collage. These pieces are not about mimicking texture but about building emotional and symbolic layers, where every element is selected to evoke atmosphere and mystery.
The central figures—women illuminated from within—become both symbols and storytellers. They do not explain; they invite. Their presence is a meditation on identity, memory, and the radiant unknown.

Purpose of This Collection:
“The Luminous Abyss” is a visual journey through the interplay of light and shadow. Each piece reflects the emotional dualities we carry—visibility and secrecy, strength and softness, memory and transformation. It invites viewers to confront the unseen within and discover how even in darkness, light is never truly lost.
This collection is also a meditation on process: on how each work is shaped by intention, study, and the emotional act of building meaning through image.

Ένα Ταξίδι μέσα από το Φως και τη Σκιά
Στη νέα μου σειρά, The Luminous Abyss, εξερευνώ τη συναισθηματική ένταση ανάμεσα στο φως και το σκοτάδι—ανάμεσα σε όσα αποκαλύπτουμε και όσα κρατούμε κρυφά. Εμπνευσμένα από τη συμβολική και ποιητική δύναμη των φωτεινών σωμάτων—πολυελαίοι, καπέλα φωτιστικών, λαμπτήρες, φλόγες—τα έργα λειτουργούν σαν πύλες προς την κρυφή αρχιτεκτονική της ψυχής.
Από τη ρετρό πολυτέλεια ως τον φουτουριστικό μινιμαλισμό, η σειρά διατρέχει αισθητικές αλλά και συναισθηματικές εποχές. Είναι μια εσωτερική διαδρομή: φόβοι, επιθυμίες, ξεχασμένα όνειρα και φωτεινές αλήθειες—όλα αιωρούνται σαν εύθραυστα φωτιστικά στο βάθος του νου.
Κάθε σύνθεση ξεκινά από ένα χειροποίητο σκίτσο—φτιαγμένο με πρόθεση και συναίσθημα—και ολοκληρώνεται ψηφιακά μέσα από σύνθετο κολάζ. Αυτά τα έργα δεν αποσκοπούν στη μίμηση υφής, αλλά στη δημιουργία συναισθηματικών και συμβολικών στρωμάτων, όπου κάθε στοιχείο επιλέγεται για να γεννήσει ατμόσφαιρα και μυστήριο.
Οι κεντρικές μορφές—γυναίκες φωτισμένες από μέσα—είναι ταυτόχρονα σύμβολα και αφηγήτριες. Δεν εξηγούν—προσκαλούν. Η παρουσία τους αποτελεί έναν διαλογισμό πάνω στην ταυτότητα, τη μνήμη και το φωτεινό άγνωστο.

Σκοπός της Συλλογής
Η σειρά The Luminous Abyss είναι ένα οπτικό ταξίδι στην αλληλεπίδραση του φωτός και της σκιάς. Κάθε έργο αντανακλά τις εσωτερικές μας δυαδικότητες—ορατότητα και μυστικότητα, δύναμη και ευαισθησία, μνήμη και μεταμόρφωση. Η σειρά προσκαλεί τον θεατή να συναντήσει το "αόρατο" μέσα του και να ανακαλύψει πως ακόμα και στο σκοτάδι, το φως δεν χάνεται ποτέ.

A surreal procession of golden animals surrounds a tranquil figure, each creature transformed into a vessel of light—fish, panther, giraffe, and peacock reborn as radiant sculptures. In this dreamlike composition, the boundaries between nature, myth, and design dissolve. Nocturnal Parade, part of The Luminous Abyss series, celebrates the untamed elegance of imagination, where light becomes a language spoken through enchanted forms.

Clarity in Disguise
Description:
Clarity in Disguise unfolds in a realm where every glow seduces and misleads in equal measure. Inspired by the paradoxes of Alice in Wonderland, the scene is a surreal parlour of riddles and reflections: teacups radiate borrowed warmth, soothing unspoken doubts; layered hats brim with half-truths, their lights casting comforting yet deceptive shadows; books emit an enchanted glow, solving mysteries only to birth deeper enigmas.
The central figure—poised between observer and illusionist—meets our gaze not with answers, but with silent questions. In this theatre of suspended bulbs and shifting symbols, clarity does not reveal—it performs. And in its performance, it disguises.

Η Διαύγεια Μεταμφιεσμένη ξεδιπλώνεται σε έναν κόσμο όπου κάθε φως σαγηνεύει και παραπλανά με τον ίδιο ρυθμό. Εμπνευσμένη από τα παράδοξα της Αλίκης στη Χώρα των Θαυμάτων, η σκηνή θυμίζει σαλόνι φαντασίας και αίνιγμα ταυτόχρονα: φλυτζάνια τσαγιού αποπνέουν δανεική θαλπωρή, κατευνάζοντας ανείπωτες αμφιβολίες· καπέλα κρύβουν ημι-αλήθειες, με τα φώτα τους να ρίχνουν σκιές γοητευτικές αλλά παραπλανητικές· βιβλία ακτινοβολούν μαγεμένο φως, λύνουν μυστήρια μόνο για να γεννήσουν βαθύτερα.
