DREAMS — Selected Artist | Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation

Annita Apostolidou Platis joins sixteen international artists in DREAMS, a new publication by the Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation exploring imagination, memory, perception, and the unconscious.

I am delighted to announce my participation as a selected artist in DREAMS, the forthcoming international art publication by the Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation, officially releasing on October 30, 2026.

Bringing together sixteen artists from different geographies, disciplines, and visual languages, DREAMS explores the shifting territories of imagination, memory, perception, and the unconscious—spaces where reality can be rearranged, questioned, remembered, and imagined anew.

The publication approaches the realm of dreams not simply as an escape from reality, but as a space of transformation: a territory where personal memory, symbolic imagery, emotion, and imagination intersect.

I am very pleased to contribute my work to this international publication and to participate in a dialogue that resonates closely with my own artistic exploration of symbolism, transformation, feminine identity, and the inner world.

My sincere thanks to the Barbagelata Contemporary Art Foundation for the selection and for continuing to create thoughtful spaces in which contemporary artistic voices can meet across cultures and disciplines.
